In 2015, I got in touch with Guido, asking to coach me towards worldlevel in Mountainbike Eliminator. At that time, I was an exceptional case in that Guido mainly coached endurance sportsmen and I required a different kind of training, in particular anaerobic power training!
Together we won the World Cup Overall twice, several medals on European and World Championships and several jerseys. I’m no exception any longer. Guido has coached a number of mountainbike top athletes since then. That doesn’t surprise me. Guido’s genuine interest in his athletes makes a good, solid base. This, in combination with his great knowledge and communication skills, makes our cooperation complete.
